Moreover, improved technology affords fraudsters more options and efficiency with which to carry out their schemes. Fraud examiners must be aware of emerging trends and their potential impacts to protect against these risks and investigate frauds involving new technologies.

This course identifies emerging technological trends, examines the ways in which they are related, and provides fraud examiners an increased awareness of this new fraud ecosystem.
