Conversation with a Fraudster Billy McFarland (On-Demand Webinar)
Billy McFarland and the infamous Fyre Festival became internationally known through the Netflix documentary “Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.” What was billed as a luxury music festival turned into a nightmare scenario as attendees and investors were left wondering what went wrong. McFarland pleaded guilty for his involvement, was sentenced to six years in prison, and was ordered to forfeit more than $26 million to cover investor losses.
In this on-demand webinar, McFarland joins ACFE President John Gill, J.D., CFE, to explore the events that led up to the festival and what happened in the aftermath.
