COVID-19 Resources for ACFE Members

At the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), our members come first. Though the coronavirus has limited activity in many parts of the world, we will be here, whether in person or virtually, to take your calls, answer your questions via online chat and provide you with the resources you need. You can reach us anytime at our headquarters with questions related to the information below or with any other inquiries.

Anti-Fraud Program Support Toolkit

You know how important it is to sustain and grow your anti-fraud resources right now, but how do you convey that message to your leadership or clients? With budgets changing and fraud increasing, getting the support you need is vital. Here are some tools to help you in your efforts.

During times of economic uncertainty and shifting budgets and priorities, your role as an anti-fraud professional becomes even more important. But that may not always be known to your leadership or stakeholders. Also, the new necessity of teleworking might be second nature to you — or it might be a whole new way of doing business. Whatever your professional challenges are, here are some resources to help you demonstrate your value and adapt to a virtual office.

You might be wondering about virtual options available to earn your CPE. In addition to live events, the ACFE accepts many types of training. We also offer numerous free and low-cost CPE options — including free member webinars and Fraud Magazine quizzes — that can be completed virtually. And we are working hard to add even more online content through expanded virtual conference offerings, additional webinars and webcasts, and our ever-expanding library of on-demand self-study courses. If you have questions about your CPE requirements or deadlines, please reach out to us at CPE@ACFE.com
Because the CFE Exam, the CFE Exam Prep Course® and the On-Demand CFE Exam Review Course are offered in a web-based, on-demand platform, you can still study for and take the CFE Exam at your convenience. Should disruptions to our exam-platform provider occur, we might make minor changes to the exam format in an effort to maintain your ability to take the CFE Exam on your own schedule from your own location.
We know this time is challenging, but we also know that fraud will not stop because of a global health crisis. In fact, we know the opposite: fraud thrives in times of uncertainty. Here are some resources that will help you in your fight against coronavirus-related scams.
