This 1-day meeting of the Institute for Fraud Prevention (IFP) will focus on cutting-edge research on the detection, deterrence and investigation of fraud and corruption. Open to academic researchers, anti-fraud practitioners, representatives of government agencies with anti-fraud responsibilities, and anyone else with an interest in fraud research, this meeting will provide a forum where attendees will learn about emerging anti-fraud research, hear proposals for new studies and network with other anti-fraud experts.

About the IFP
The goal of the IFP is to bring together top researchers, anti-fraud practitioners, and government agencies to share knowledge, generate new ideas, and contribute to the established body of knowledge in the anti-fraud profession. IFP studies are approved with a goal of developing research that yields practical insights, useful information and new tools for anti-fraud practitioners.
Previously housed at West Virginia University, the IFP has now merged with the ACFE Foundation, whose mission is to increase the body of anti-fraud knowledge. To date the IFP has funded more than 50 research studies, and its research portfolio continues to grow.
