He has spent the past decade researching critical thinking, transparency,
authenticity, culture and diversity. Toby authored a first-of-its-kind scientific study on
thinking quality focused on auditors. The culmination of nearly 20 years of study, his
courses speak to audiences of leaders and experts, teaching a new approach to
understanding our thinking.
Fraud Lab is a high-intensity, immersive workshop that transforms the way
investigators detect, analyze, and communicate about fraud. Rooted in cutting-edge
behavioral research, this half-or full-day program exposes the psychological
undercurrents that shape both perpetrator behavior and investigator reasoning.
Led by Dr. Toby Groves—researcher in investigative psychology—Fraud Lab fuses realworld
