Mortgage Fraud Investigations Associate Director Freddie Mac
Jenny Nunn Brawley is a Mortgage Fraud Investigation Associate Director with Freddie Mac's Fraud Investigation Unit in McLean, Virginia. Since joining Freddie Mac in 2002, Brawley has become one of Freddie Mac's primary spokespersons on mortgage fraud, conducting presentations and educational seminars to lenders, mortgage brokers, appraisers, regulators and law enforcement. Brawley has also spoken or provided education to mortgage industry trade groups such as the national and local chapters of the Mortgage Bankers Association ("MBA"), the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women ("NAPMW"), the National Association of Mortgage Brokers ("NAMB"), and the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators ("AARMR"). Brawley has also conducted mortgage fraud training sessions at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA and participated in the FBI's "Virtual Academy."
Brawley's investigative territory covers all 50 states, where she directs and investigates complex mortgage fraud-for-profit schemes. Brawley actively assists numerous government agencies with mortgage fraud investigations including the FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office, U.S. Postal Inspector, IRS, state regulators, and state or local law enforcement.
Brawley has been a Certified Fraud Examiner since 1994 and spoke on "Tracing Assets and Hidden Funds" at the 5th Annual Fraud Conference. Brawley has also been at presenter at local CFE chapter meetings in Dallas, Chicago and Denver.
Brawley is a member of the Illinois Mortgage Fraud Working Group, the Florida Quality Control Council and GREFPAC. In her spare time when not combating mortgage fraud, Brawley is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
