Oct 30, 2023

This annual event brings anti-fraud education and awareness to businesses and consumers worldwide.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is proud to announce the observance of International Fraud Awareness Week, November 12-18, 2023. The annual event, now in its 24th year, aims to educate individuals and organizations about the importance of fraud prevention and detection.

Fraud Week serves as a global movement to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud awareness and education. With the rising complexity of financial crimes and scams, the need for vigilance and awareness has never been more critical. This week-long initiative empowers individuals and businesses to take proactive steps in recognizing, preventing and reporting fraud by partnering with the ACFE as Ambassadors and Supporting Organizations of Fraud Week.

"We are thankful for our Fraud Week supporters that help support part of the mission of the ACFE, which is to reduce the incidence of fraud and white-collar crime," said ACFE President John Gill, J.D., CFE. "I am always in awe of the unique activities that Fraud Week supporters come up with every year. They are truly making this event their own while inspiring their community to keep fighting fraud through education."

To participate in International Fraud Awareness Week, individuals and organizations can visit for access to educational materials, resources, and event details. Supporting Organizations can also promote their planned events during Fraud Week on the website to welcome people from around the world to join.
