ACFE Fraud Conference Returns to Canada In Person for First Time Since 2019

Following two years of virtual-only events, the 2022 ACFE Fraud Conference Canada brings anti-fraud professionals from around the region back together for three days of educational sessions and networking.

The 2022 ACFE Fraud Conference Canada marks another milestone in the return to pre-pandemic activities for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). On the shores of Lake Ontario, the Beanfield Centre in Toronto will host the region’s first in-person ACFE Fraud Conference since 2019 from November 13–15, 2022. 

Starting with Sunday’s Pre-Conference session led by Bret Hood, CFE, the following 2-day Main Conference agenda includes both general and breakout sessions led by industry experts with specialized knowledge in the anti-fraud field. Delivering keynote lectures are Peter German QC, PhD, who is President of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Chair of the Advisory Committee of the Vancouver Anti-Corruption Institute (VACI); Terry Cutler, the CEO of Cyology Labs and an award-winning cybersecurity expert; Daniel Tsai, a lawyer, business executive, educator, columnist, marketing expert, editor and founder of ConsumerRights.ca; and Erica Johnson, an award-winning senior investigative reporter with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and host of “CBC News: Go Public.” Closing the conference is award-winning writer, international speaker and workplace culture strategist Jennifer Moss, whose most recent book, “The Burnout Epidemic,” was named 10 Best New Management Books for 2022 by Thinkers50. 

Conference attendees will be able to obtain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for the sessions they choose, attend a networking reception sponsored by the ACFE, connect from industry-leading companies at exhibitor booths and discover other amenities as part of their registration.
