The rise in contract management and the outsourcing of goods and services has created an increase in procurement fraud, which can occur at any stage of the contracting and procurement process. Appropriate controls, fraud prevention strategies and proper tendering processes are necessary in the fight against this fraud. The first two days of this course will teach you the best practices for preventing, detecting and investigating contract and procurement fraud.
On day three Build on the foundation provided in the first two days. This workshop will provide you with an opportunity to apply your knowledge in an interactive setting. You will work through several practical exercises and case studies to finely hone your ability to prevent, detect and respond to contract and procurement fraud. From understanding the personality risk profiles of the typical procurement fraudster to reviewing a contract file to uncover potential fraud, this workshop provides a deep dive into the best practices of combatting threats in contract and procurement functions.
