• ACFE Systems Upgrade FAQ


    How long will the ACFE’s systems be down?
    From 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, May 3. 

    Will ACFE.com be offline?
    Partially. The Community and Job Board will be offline. The shopping cart will be offline, meaning you will not be able to purchase products or register for events. The rest of the site will be accessible, although some pages may give error messages in places.

    I am studying for the CFE Exam. How will this affect me?
    You will be able to continue studying normally. 

    I finished studying and am ready to take the CFE Exam. How will this affect me?
    It shouldn't really affect you. Please submit your exam key request as normal.

    I was planning on taking the CFE Exam. How will this affect me?
    It shouldn't really affect you. The CFE Exam will function normally. 

    Will the online products I’ve purchased still work?
    Yes, you will be able to access products you have already purchased. 

    Will I be able to enter CPE PIN codes for a course I recently attended?
    You will not be able to enter CPE PIN codes or access CPE certificates during this time.

    If I really need to register for an event or purchase a product during the upgrade, what do I do?
    Please call ACFE Member Services at 512-478-9000. A Member Services Representative will help you identify the best option available to meet your needs.
