The Conference

The 2014 ACFE Asia-Pacific Fraud Conference returns to Hong Kong, 16-18 November 2014 for this year’s best opportunity to learn the latest techniques and tools in the fight against fraud. Join top anti-fraud professionals at this premier event and:

As you may be aware, several Hong Kong districts have been affected by recent protests. While the 2014 ACFE Asia-Pacific Fraud Conference will be hosted in Hong Kong, we have been notified that the demonstrations are not impacting the conference venue, and disruptions in transit to and from the location are minimal. Local reports indicate that Tsim Sha Tsui, the major shopping and hotel area along the waterfront, is easily accessible. Travel by MTR is still one of the most convenient ways to get around Hong Kong.

We are also confident that by attending the conference, you will strengthen your organisation's anti-fraud programme by gaining knowledge, new connections and cutting-edge resources. Join more than 200 anti-fraud professionals – including Olympus whistleblower Michael Woodfood and investigative journalist David Barboza – for expert anti-fraud education and invaluable networking.

Keynote Announcement

Michael Woodford, former Olympus CEO and whistleblower, has been added to the programme as a keynote speaker.

“When all we hear about are stories of corruption at the top levels of companies, Michael Woodford is a beacon of ethical hope from the C-Suites.”

— Paul Fiorelli J.D, M.B.A
Professor of Legal Studies
Co-Director Cintas Institute for Business Ethics
