ACFE Global Fraud Conference Internship Program

The ACFE Global Fraud Conference Internship Program is designed for students who are interested in learning more about fraud or pursuing a career in the anti-fraud profession. Students are awarded the opportunity to work behind the scenes at the world’s largest anti-fraud conference, and are encouraged to attend educational sessions, participate in professional development opportunities and network with the industry’s leading subject matter experts. Students will be assigned to key areas of conference activities like registration, room monitoring, bookstore sales and video production set-up.

The internship includes free registration to the Main Conference, June 20-22, access to networking receptions and two ACFE polo shirts (a $1,600+ value). Travel, lodging and dining expenses outside of the meals provided at the conference are not included.

Requirements

All tasks involved in working have the following physical requirements:

  • Walking long distances to and from assignments throughout the day
  • Prolonged standing
  • Some packing and light lifting  

Eligibility and Criteria

The ACFE Global Fraud Conference Internship Program is open to ACFE student members with anti-fraud related academic and career interests. Students who are not yet ACFE members may apply online at ACFE.com/Join.  

Interested student members must submit the following documents by the deadline date:

  • A statement of 400 words or less describing the way in which their academic and/or career interests relate to the anti-fraud profession. Name and contact information must be included.
  • A letter of recommendation written by a professor or employer who is familiar with their work and career interests. The letter must be submitted on official institutional/company letterhead with a visible signature.
