Description

In May 2023, a forensic accountant was asked by a prominent Portland defense attorney to review what appeared to be a straightforward case. The investigation soon led to a warehouse tied to Michael Malekzadeh’s secondary-market Nike shoe business where red flags began to surface. What started as a simple question became the gateway to uncovering a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme.

In this webinar, you will learn how this case unfolded from Tiffany Couch, CFE, CPA, who led the investigation. You will explore techniques to manage hundreds of thousands of lines of data from various sources to assemble an understanding where no formal accounting data existed. Additionally, you will discover how to collaborate and communicate effectively with attorneys throughout the course of an investigation.
