In this webinar, you will walk step-by-step through a decades-long fraud scheme, including how it began, evolved and successfully evaded detection. You will see what ultimately exposed the operation and how digital forensics, text messages, security footage, and suspect and witness interviews came together to reveal a low-tech yet highly effective vendor kickback and bid-rigging scheme.
You will also examine how internal controls were circumvented, how warning signs were missed, and how potential whistleblowers were ignored or sidelined, offering practical lessons for fraud prevention and detection.
