AI Has Changed Fraud. Now We Must Change How We Fight It

Artificial intelligence (AI) has changed the speed, scale and economics of fraud. Synthetic identities, deepfakes, forged documents, account takeover attempts and AI-assisted social engineering are no longer isolated threats. They are becoming scalable, automated and harder to detect through traditional point-in-time controls.
This webinar will examine how fraud has evolved, why static rules and manual review queues are struggling, and what fraud teams need to do in response to a changing landscape. You will explore the move from one-time verification to continuous, multi-signal risk intelligence across onboarding, login, transactions and account activity.
You will also learn how AI can be used responsibly in regulated businesses to support detection, triage and decision-making while maintaining accountability, explainability and control.
Attendees should have a basic working knowledge of fraud prevention, fraud investigations, digital identity, AML/KYC, cybersecurity, or risk operations. Prior experience with artificial intelligence (AI) is helpful but not required.
Identify how AI is changing the fraud landscape across identity, documents, social engineering and account activity and evaluate the signals used in modern fraud defense.
Recognize the operational gaps created by siloed KYC, AML, fraud and cybersecurity systems and determine how AI can support fraud investigations and decision-making in regulated environments.
Recognize why point-in-time verification and static fraud rules are no longer sufficient against modern fraud, and assess the three key shifts toward continuous risk, signal-based detection and intelligence-driven fraud prevention.
