Free and Affordable Ways to Earn CPE Virtually

Questions. We all have so many questions right now. When will this be over? How can I keep moving when it feels like the world is telling me to stand still? What does the future hold? While I can’t answer any of these questions for you, I can answer a question we have been getting here at the ACFE: What are some easy ways for me to get my CPE while social distancing?

Below is a list of some of the ways you can continue to earn your CPE remotely and at an affordable cost, or even for free:

• Participate in the ACFE Mentoring Program.

• Complete and submit Fraud Magazine quizzes.

• Get your CPE with online self-studies.  

In addition to the resources above, we are working hard to add even more online content through new virtual conference offerings, additional webinars and virtual events, and our ever-expanding library of on-demand self-study courses.

We know this time is challenging, but fraud will not stop because of economic changes or working conditions. In fact, we know the opposite to be true; fraud thrives in times like these. We want you to be prepared and confident in your role as a Certified Fraud Examiner. And while I don’t have the answers to many questions we are all facing now, I do know that you are the answer to the fraud and corruption we will see in the near future.
