On Sept. 15, the ACFE Board of Regents passed a resolution requiring that at least one member of the Board of Regents at all times shall be a resident of a country outside the U.S. The ACFE will implement this rule with the next Board of Regents election, which will begin Nov. 1.

"The new rule, which reflects the ACFE's growing international membership, is designed to help ensure that the interests of members from outside the U.S. are represented in matters that come before the Board of Regents," according to Board Chair Bruce G. Dubinsky, CFE, CPA.
