The ACFE Board of Regents is responsible for setting membership standards that promote professionalism and ensure the future of our organization.

Each November, Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) are eligible to elect fellow CFEs to serve on the Board. Regents have sole authority to oversee the admission of members and examination standards, as well as establish Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements, and modify and enforce the CFE Code of Professional Ethics.

This year, nine candidates are on the ballot and will fill three open positions on the 2026–2027 ACFE Board of Regents. All CFEs who are in good standing have until November 30, 2025, to cast their votes. The newly elected Regents will each serve a two-year term beginning in February 2026.
