More Than 5,400 Anti-Fraud Professionals Attend 36th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference

The annual flagship event for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) was held in Nashville, Tennessee, and virtually.

AUSTIN, Texas (June 30, 2025) – The 36th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference on June 22–27, 2025, brought together thousands of anti-fraud professionals to Nashville's Music City Center and online to hear more than 100 expert speakers share insights on varying sectors of fraud. The event is hosted every year by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world's largest organization of anti-fraud professionals.

Keynote speakers for the 36th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference included:

• World Trade Organization Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
• Pulitzer Center Executive Editor Marina Walker Guevara.
• Former FBI negotiator and behavioral intelligence expert Chris Voss.
• "Scam Goddess" podcast host and actress Laci Mosley.

During the 36th Annual ACFE Global Fraud Conference, the ACFE Middle Tennessee Chapter hosted the ACFE Foundation Fundraising Concert headlined by The Marshall Tucker Band. The event, held to raise funds to support the future of fraud prevention and detection through scholarships and research grants, raised more than $20,000 for the ACFE Foundation.

As is tradition with every ACFE Global Fraud Conference, a group of anti-fraud professionals and ACFE chapters were honored with ACFE Awards for outstanding achievement and dedication to the profession. The 2025 honorees were:

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) of the Year Award: Erin Johnson, CFE
• James R. Baker Speaker of the Year Award: Leah Lane, CFE
• Educator of the Year Award: Dr. Rasha Kassem, CFE
• Guardian Award: Marina Walker Guevara
• Hubbard Award: Carolyn Conn, Ph.D., CFE, CPA and Zachary Kelley
• Chapter of the Year Award: Twin Cities Chapter and Heartland Chapter
• Chapter Community Service and Outreach Award: New York Chapter
