Investigating With Computer Databases Commercial databases, although costly, may serve to save you money in the long run. You'll go through some of the more useful databases that fraud examiners have used in their investigations. Plus, you will add to the session with your own personal experiences. |

Legal Issues Affecting Computer Investigations Are there issues you are facing in this highly technical world that you haven't faced before? This session will explore these issues, as well as laws, rules, and regulations that affect your investigation, especially when it comes to seizing evidence that is electronic. |
Data Analysis Tools Data mining is a term that is thrown around frequently these days. This session focuses on how data mining can help in your job to find fraud. Also discussed are other software applications that are available to you in your search for fraud including Benford's Law. |

Investigating With the Internet The Internet can serve as both an aid or a curse to investigators depending on how you use it. Learn how the Internet can be used in your investigations, but at the same time you must be cautious so that you don't over rely on it, and ruin your case. |
Computer Evidence Evidence you need may not be found in a desk or file cabinet, but rather on the computer's hard drive cloaked in disguise. If you make the wrong move you may find that you have lost the evidence forever and the case lost. Learn how to make the right moves. |

You will go on-line to some of the most productive sites that are available to you. You will also learn some of the shortcuts that will allow you your most important asset - your time. |
Preserving Computer Evidence Your know where the evidence is on the computer, but you need to make sure that you don't contaminate it. This session will show you how make sure that the evidence obtained from the computer will be accepted by the courts and thus prove your case. |
