Data mining is a term that is thrown around frequently these days. This session focuses on how data mining can help in your job to find fraud. Also discussed are other software applications that are available to you in your search for fraud including Benford's Law. |

The Internet can serve as both an aid or a curse to investigators depending on how you use it. Learn how the Internet can be used in your investigations, but at the same time you must be cautious so that you don't over rely on it, and ruin your case. |

Evidence you need may not be found in a desk or file cabinet, but rather on the computer's hard drive cloaked in disguise. If you make the wrong move you may find that you have lost the evidence forever and the case lost. Learn how to make the right moves. |

Your know where the evidence is on the computer, but you need to make sure that you don't contaminate it. This session will show you how make sure that the evidence obtained from the computer will be accepted by the courts and thus prove your case. |
