How Does the CFE Support Your Career?

Nearly 45,000 anti-fraud professionals are members of the ACFE, and more than 20,000 of them have proven their dedication to the profession by obtaining the Certified Fraud Examiner designation. An indicator of expertise in the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud, the CFE is globally preferred among employers in both business and government.

CFEs have a unique set of skills that are not found in any other career field or discipline; they combine knowledge of complex financial transactions with an understanding of investigation, law, and how to resolve allegations of fraud. Fraud examiners are also trained to understand not only how fraud occurs, but why.
