Scott J. Grossfeld has a broad business background with over ten years experience helping organizations manage complex financial, accounting and technology-related business problems. His career has focused on assisting companies become as efficient as possible through both technology and business process improvements.

Mr. Grossfeld joined the ACFE in 2004 as its Chief Financial Officer, providing management and oversight of all finances while working with senior leadership to develop organizational strategy, alliances and operations worldwide. Jointly, he managed the company’s IT organization and was responsible for its technological advances. Grossfeld’s guidance and strategic initiatives helped to support the ACFE’s continued national and international growth in 2004 and 2005. His leadership and passion have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.

Mr. Grossfeld was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in 2005. As CEO, Mr. Grossfeld is responsible for all operational aspects of the ACFE, which is the largest anti-fraud organization in the world. Grossfeld is focused on furthering the ACFE’s innovation and leadership in anti-fraud training and education.

Mr. Grossfeld previously served at Arthur Andersen LLP in Dallas providing both audit and tax services before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers in their management consulting division where he aided Fortune 500 companies with business process reengineering projects and enterprise system implementations.

In 2000, Grossfeld was the Product and Professional Services Manager at Lombardi Software in Austin, a leading developer of business process management software. Prior to coming to the ACFE, he was Product Management Director for Factory Logic in Austin, where he led overall product design and development.

Mr. Grossfeld earned a Master in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds memberships with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
