The ACFE is committed to providing a comprehensive resource center for all students to learn about the global threat of fraud and to help them prepare for careers in the anti-fraud profession. We offer reduced membership fees and full access to the ACFE's member resources to college students interested in fraud prevention and detection. Student Associate membership is open to undergraduate students enrolled in 9 semester hours (or equivalent), or graduate students enrolled in 6 semester hours (or equivalent) in an accredited college or university.

The ACFE Foundation is a nonprofit organization which will oversee the ACFE Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship program and work to support the education of collegiate accounting and criminal justice students around the globe. ACFE Foundation is managed by an independent Board of Directors elected by the members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. The Directors are: Nancy S. Bradford, CFE, CPA, CIA, Joseph R. Dervaes, CFE, CIA, Martin T. Biegelman, CFE, Marilyn B. Peterson, CFE, CCA, and Dennis F. Dycus, CFE, CPA, CGFM. Each of the directors is a former member of the ACFE Board of Regents, and each brings a wealth of experience in the practice of fraud examination, as well as years of dedicated service to the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and its members.

With the creation of ACFE Foundation, the ACFE and its members will help to fund the ongoing fight against fraud by supporting the education of future anti-fraud professionals, providing scholarships to qualified accounting and criminal justice students throughout the world. ACFE Foundation will be a tax-exempt charitable organization (IRS Application to be filed in 2006) which will allow members to claim a tax deduction for contributions to the Foundation.
